Avoidance

What is it about avoidance that is so appealing to me? Avoidance hardly ever makes things easier in the long run. Then why do I always choose to avoid stuff, both good and bad?
Avoidance robs me of living. And I want to live.
So here's to making baby-steps towards a life free from unhealthy avoidance.

  1. Sadly, it is one of the most natural things to do. Praise God that all things are possible with His help! I miss you! Last night my sister and I went to a lake close to Bear Pond. I so wanted to just go show her Bear Pond, but it was dark, and it was just her and I... and I thought that might not be the safest. :) I'm looking forward to seeing you next month! We can explore some other lovely "Bear Ponds" of TN! :D

  2. So I'm guessing your sister Sarah is with you? I'm so glad you get to spend time with her.
And wow, it is next month that I see you... Time is flying!
And you should be proud of me Amy--I went kayaking this past wednesday:) !
And yes, I had a lot of fun, especially since there were no alligators or snakes...
Miss you and praying for you.
